Learning, protection and young people
We support learning, school retention, child protection, mentorship and life skills for children and young people.
What we do
Our registered mandate covers several areas of community need. We organise the work into six pillars so that each programme has a clear purpose, suitable safeguards and results that can be assessed honestly.
Six programme pillars
A partner may support one area while the programme still draws on relevant experience and relationships from across the organisation.
We support learning, school retention, child protection, mentorship and life skills for children and young people.
This work addresses the different needs of women, girls, men and boys while promoting mental wellbeing, responsible parenting and safer family life.
We develop practical responses in preventive health, hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, psychosocial wellbeing and care for older persons.
Music, storytelling, heritage, media and performance are used to support learning, advocacy, talent and cultural identity.
Our livelihood and environmental work includes vocational skills, agribusiness, coffee, enterprise, clean water and the responsible use of natural resources.
We promote dignity, inclusion and peaceful coexistence while building accountable relationships with communities, institutions and businesses.
